Minghuang Tea owns an organic production base with soil containing a variety of trace elements and free from pesticides and chemical fertilizer. The tea production base also grows many pest-control plants.

Minghuang Tea has been certified as a national organic product. It has won the golden prize in national and provincial tea quality contests for, respectively, five consecutive times, and the golden prize in the China Agriculture Trade Fair for three consecutive times. The tea was given to the Swedish King as a special gift.
