The Ip Man Memorial Hall, which covers an area of 800 square meters, started operation on January 14, 2012. The ancestral halls and residential buildings in the memorial hall display items used by Ip Man as well as materials about the history of Wing Chun, Chinese boxing, introduction to famous masters, a wooden dummy, Bart Cham Dao, Ip Man’s growth, photos of actors in Wing Chun-related movies and TV series, and videos of Ip Man practicing Wing Chun. The memorial hall is also a Wing Chun training base that has attracted many martial artists from home and abroad. Ip Chun, the son of Ip Man, and his apprentices have been invited to teach Wing Chun skills.
