With the subgrade in the third work area of the Guangdong section of the Yulin-Zhanjiang Expressway passing the acceptance check on April 11, more than 90 percent of the subgrade of the expressway has been handed over for examination.

Spanning about 196 kilometers, the Yulin-Zhanjiang Expressway links Yulin in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Zhanjiang in Guangdong province. When completed, it will be a major transportation channel that links cities within the Beibu Gulf, playing a significant role in propelling regional economic development and completing the local transportation network.

The subgrade in the third work area is 17.8 km in length, and did its first handing over for examination in March 2019.

Currently, the bridges and culverts acceptance work in the third work area is also being prepared in an orderly manner.
