Zhanjiang puts on more trains to Kunming, Chengdu

Zhanjiang Railway Station in Guangdong province is scheduled to put on extra passenger trains to Kunming in Yunnan province and Chengdu in Sichuan province during the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush, to cater for migrant workers.

From Jan 28 to Feb 7, the K4312 train from Zhanjiang to Chengdu will have 15 stops at Lianjiang and Hechun in Zhanjiang, Luchuan, Yulin, Guigang, Laibin and Liuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Huaihua in Hunan province, Qianjiang and Hechuan districts in Chongqing, as well as Suining and Chengdu in Sichuan.

From Jan 28 to March 7, the K4982 train from Zhanjiang to Kunming will stop at Lianjiang and Hechun in Zhanjiang, Wendi, Luchuan, Yulin, Xingye, Guigang, Litang, Nanning, Pingguo and Baise in Guangxi, Xingyi and Weishe in Guizhou province, as well as Luoping, Shizong, Shilin, Yiliang and Kunming in Yunnan.

The two trains will give priority to meeting the travel needs of migrant workers' groups. Enterprises that need group tickets for migrant workers can contact Zhanjiang Railway Station 20 days in advance.

Since Jan 1, 2020, the ticketing service hours of the online railway ticket-booking platform 12306 have been extended, and tickets can now be purchased from 5 am to 11:30 pm every day.

In addition to the 12306 website and offline service windows, travelers can also change tickets for other trains before 12 am on the same day using other online apps.

Online ticket refund services can be accessed 24 hours a day, while the deadline for ticket refunds has been adjusted from 25 minutes before the train departure to the time of the train departure.
