Works that demonstrate the creative growth of Zhuhai's oil painters, their sense of life, spirit of responsibility, and independent thinking, are on exhibit at the Gu Yuan Museum of Art until Feb 13.

Each of 30 local painters has provided five representative paintings among a gamut of artistic styles and topics. Some depict natural landscapes while others are thoughtful reflections on physical reality or tributes to laborers.

The Great Wall of China

The local flavor is strong as the art is said to encourage creation and deep exploration.

The Gu Yuan Museum of Art is on East Meihua Road of New Xiangzhou. It is sponsoring the exhibition in conjunction with the Zhuhai Federation of Literary & Art Circles and Zhuhai Artists Association.
