A benefit concert, jointly hosted by Guangzhou Opera House and Guangdong Harmony Community Foundation, wrapped up in Guangzhou, Guangdong province on Sept 2.

By combining dance and music with traditional farming, such as sowing, transplanting seedlings, and harvesting, the concert showcased the rice planting culture of south Guangdong province. Hence, the stage was set like a paddy field.

Children's drama, instrumental solo performances, solo dances, and puppet shows were staged in succession. An African drum troupe, composed of children of sanitation workers in Guangzhou, also gave wonderful performances.

Lizhi (the former Lychee FM), a renowned domestic online radio app produced by Guangzhou Lizhi Network Technology Co in 2013, also participated in the benefit concert. Representatives from the company said that it hoped that more ordinary people can participate in public welfare undertakings by combining art with public welfare efforts.
