The 3rd Asian Youth Games, which is set to take place in Shantou, South China's Guangdong province in 2021, started accepting submissions worldwide for its contest on the design of its emblem, slogan, and mascot on Nov 20.

Submitted works should fully reflect the profound Chinese traditional culture, the value of the Asian Youth Association, and the unique characteristics of Shantou.

The official submission date of design works is Jan 1. The deadline for submissions for the emblem and slogan is Jan 31, and March 31 for the mascot.

Winners of the emblem and mascot design will be given a prize of 100,000 yuan ($14,217.21) respectively, while the winning slogan submission will win 10,000 yuan.
