The Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the largest airport comprehensive bonded zone in China, was approved to establish on July 3, 2010 by the State Council.

Located in the Guangzhou Airport Economic Zone, the bonded area consists of three main parts and covers nearly 740 hectares. The project passed acceptance check on April 17, 2014 and became operational on July 29 of the same year.

The area has taken a leading role in terms of opening up, comprehensive functions, supportive policies and clearance efficiency.
