Guangdong sends medical team to Hubei to help fight virus
A medical team from Guangdong focused on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) set out to Hubei province on Jan 27 to help in coronavirus prevention and control.
The medical team consists of 60 doctors and nurses from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, the Guangdong Provincial TCM Hospital and the Guangdong Second TCM Hospital, all of which have experience in the prevention and control of infectious diseases.
Besides, the 60 members from Guangdong would join 40 from Beijing to form a TCM team to mainly assist the Hubei Provincial Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine to carry out medical treatment.
