Fong started learning Cai Li Fo boxing from his father when he was about 15. He said he has had great interest in learning martial arts since childhood.
Fong's father, who has been practicing Cai Li Fo for more than five decades, is an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Guandong province.
In addition to teaching, Fong said he hoped to be able to attract more young people from Macao in the future to promote mutual understanding and exchanges with people on the mainland.
"I want to encourage more young people from Macao to understand more about their motherland and the splendid Chinese culture," he said.
Cai Li Fo boxing is a tradition that should be preserved, he said.
