Notification on Implementing Classified and Categorized Prevention and Control Measures to Further Strengthen COVID-19 Prevention and Control Work

In accordance with the principles of Guangzhou COVID-19 Prevention and Control Center's notification No.13, No. 15, and No. 16, to further enhance Yuexiu District's efforts in the accurate prevention and control COVID-19, to rapidly and effectively curb the spread of COVID-19, and to practically safeguard people's safety and health, we hereby notify arrangements about COVID-19 prevention and control work as follows:

1. It has been determined that Yuexiu District will conduct the second district-wide universal PCR testing on all residents from June 4 to June 6. Residents are advised to follow the notification and instructions of community committee staff and arrive at designated testing station for PCR testing according to the set schedule for each building in an orderly manner.

2. In all areas of Liurong street and Guangta Street: measures stipulated in Guangzhou COVID-19 Prevention and Control Center's notification No.13 will be strictly implemented.

3. In all areas of Liuhua Street, Renmin Street, Kuangquan Street, and Beijing Street: all restaurants shall stop providing dine-in service, and provide take-away services either on-site or through online or phone orders. Any form of group dining is forbidden (including private banquets); all public entertainment facilities located in enclosed spaces (for example, cinemas, theaters, Karaoke bars, dancing clubs, Internet cafes, mahjong playing rooms, and cardplaying rooms, etc.), indoor spaces of public culture facilities (libraries, museums, cultural halls, and galleries, etc.), indoor rides of tourist attractions, and childcare/student care facilities must be temporarily shut down; other commercial places (including markets and shopping malls) shall limit the traffic to 50% of their maximum capacity.

4. Areas outside of the abovementioned 6 streets: all commercial places (including markets, restaurants, and entertainment facilities, etc.) should limit the traffic to 75% of their maximum capacity.

5. All commercial places in the district must strictly implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures and properly carry out health administration measures. Measures such as making appointments, implementing staggered schedule, limiting the traffic, taking the temperature, and inspecting health codes must be implemented.

6. All residents must voluntarily abide by the COVID-19 prevention and control rules set out by the state, province, municipality, and district. Residents should take proper personal protection measures, avoid gatherings, wear masks, wash hands regularly, measure temperature, practice social distancing, and actively cooperate with the party committee and the government to carry out COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

The above measures will be adjusted on a dynamic basis according to COVID-19 risk evaluation results. During the period of lockdown and restricted management, organizations across the district at all levels must ensure the provision of supplies, health services, and humanitarian assistance. Give full play to the working mechanism of "community three-people group" to ensure social stability.

Notification on Conducting the Second District-wide Universal PCR Testing

Dear Residents of Haizhu District:

In accordance with relevant requirements of COVID-19 prevention and control measures, to rapidly and effectively curb the spread of COVID-19, and to practically safeguard people's safety and health, it has been decided that Haizhu District will conduct the second district-wide universal PCR testing on all residents from June 4 to June 6.

Notification on Conducting Universal PCR Testing in Cordoned Off and Restricted Areas in Liwan District

Dear Residents,

In order to fully implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures, and to safeguard people's safety and health, following the COVID-19 prevention and control arrangements of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou Municipality, it has been decided after deliberation by Liwan District COVID-19 Prevention and Control Center that from June 5 to June 6, universal PCR testing will be conducted on all residents of the following 9 areas: Baihedong, Zhongnan, Hailong, Chongkou, Dongjiao, Chajiao, Huadi, Shiweitang, and Dongsha. Residents in these areas are advised to wear proper personal protections and bring your mobile phones and IDs to go through sample collection in an orderly manner according to the instructions of community staff.

Residents must strictly follow the stipulations of Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases of the People's Republic of China and cooperate with the staff to provide personal information and complete sample collection. Those who disrupt or hinder sample collection will be persecuted by public security authority for legal liabilities.

Guangzhou Tianhe District Notification on Conducting District-wide Universal PCR Testing (No.3)

Dear residents,

Everyone has a responsibility to curb the spread of COVID-19. We are now at a critical stage of COVID-19 prevention and control. Following the COVID-19 prevention and control arrangements of Guangzhou Municipality, it has been decided that Tianhe District will conduct a district-wide universal PCR testing on all residents, including household registered population and migrant population, from June 4 to June 6. We hereby notify the following matters:

1. 3. Please bring your ID to the testing site and present your "Yuekang Code". Please make sure to wear a mask throughout the process and keep a distance of at least 1 meter away from others. Please avoid talking and gatherings and follow the instructions of the staff on site. Residents who received COVID-19 vaccination on the day (either the first dose or the second dose) are advised to take the PCR test 24 hours later; residents who have successfully booked a COVID-19 vaccination appointment should get vaccinated after completing the PCR test. Dear Residents,

In accordance with the requirements of COVID-19 prevention and control work, it has been decided that Baiyun District will conduct a district-wide (excluding areas where testing has been completed: Shijing Street, Dayuan Street and Liangtian Village, Dongfeng Village of Zhongluotan Town) universal PCR testing on all residents, including household registered population and migrant population, from June 4 to June 6. In order to further strengthen COVID-19 prevention and control measures, and to practically safeguard people's safety and health, following the COVID-19 prevention and control arrangements of Guangzhou Municipality, it has been decided that Huadu District will conduct a district-wide universal PCR testing on all residents, including household registered population and migrant population, from June 5 to June 6. We hereby notify the following matters:

1. Residents are advised to follow the notification and instructions of community (village) committee staff and arrive at designated testing station for PCR testing according to the set schedule in an orderly manner. Whoever should be tested must be tested to make sure every household and everyone is covered. Please do not go to the testing station on your own if you are yet to be notified by community staff, to avoid gatherings and prolonged waiting time.

2. Before taking the PCR test, please log into the "Kuihua Code" WeChat miniprogram and update your personal information. Take a screenshot of the QR code generated by the system to facilitate rapid identity verification at the testing location. QR codes for senior citizens and minors who do not have a mobile phone can be generated and saved in the devices of their family members.

3. Please bring your ID to the testing site and present your "Suikang Code" and "Sample collection information QR code" when taking the test. Please make sure to wear a mask throughout the process and keep a distance of at least 1 meter away from others. Please avoid talking and gatherings.

4. Residents who received COVID-19 vaccination within 24 hours must take the PCR test 24 hours after being vaccinated; residents who have successfully booked a COVID-19 vaccination appointment should get vaccinated after completing the PCR test. Residents who haven't been tested after 0:00 June 5 are still required to take part in this universal PCR testing.

5. Please refrain from travelling or attending group activities before the PCR test results come out. If you have a fever or other symptoms, please voluntarily visit nearby fever clinics to get diagnosed.

There will be many inconveniences if you do not take part in PCR testing. In the event of severe consequences, you will be held legally liable. In order to rapidly and effectively curb the spread of COVID-19, and to practically safeguard people's safety and health, we hereby notify the following matters:

1. Conducting district-wide universal PCR testing

It has been decided that Nansha District will conduct a district-wide universal PCR testing on all residents, including household registered population and migrant population, from June 5 to June 6.

(1) Residents are advised to follow the notification and instructions of village committee (community committee) staff and book an appointment for sample collection to arrive at designated location for PCR testing in an orderly manner.

(2) Residents who received COVID-19 vaccination on the day (either the first dose or the second dose) are advised to take the PCR test 24 hours later.

(3) Please bring your ID to the testing site and present your "Suikang Code". Please make sure to wear a mask throughout the process and keep a distance of at least 1 meter away from others. Please avoid talking and gatherings and follow the instructions of the staff on site.

(4) Before the PCR results are out, please stay at home and refrain from going out or attending group activities. Please call 120 if you feel unwell.

2. Tightening control over commercial places

(1) All public catering service providers (including food sellers offering dine-in service) shall stop providing dine-in service and provide take-away services either on-site or through online or phone orders. The measure will be implemented starting from 12:00 June 5, 2021.

(2) All canteens affiliated with organizations (including government and public organizations, schools, construction sites, and enterprises) shall implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures, such as conducting temperature screening at the entrance and offer dining service on a staggered schedule for different groups.

(3) Enclosed spaces located in Zhujiang Street area including culture and entertainment facilities, indoor culture and sports venues, gyms, swimming centers, and spa centers shall be temporarily shut down. Enclosed places outside of Zhujiang Street area must strictly implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures. Measures such as making appointments, implementing staggered schedule, limiting the traffic, taking the temperature, and inspecting health codes must be implemented. The name and mobile phone number of customers must be recorded.

(4) All commercial places must install checking points to inspect Suikang Code (Kuihua Code). All commercial places must conduct thorough disinfection every day and keep the spaces well-ventilated. People entering the places must wear masks, their temperature must be taken, and their health codes must be inspected. Continue to rigorously monitor the health status of employees. Strengthen education on COVID-19 prevention and control information. Use screens, speakers, and announcement systems to broadcast COVID-19 prevention and control information and requirements at the entrance and exit as well as inside the venue.

3. All residents must voluntarily abide by the COVID-19 prevention and control rules set out by the state, province, municipality, and district. Residents should take proper personal protection measures, avoid gatherings, wear masks, wash hands regularly, measure temperature, practice social distancing, and actively cooperate with the party committee and the government to carry out COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

The above measures will be adjusted on a dynamic basis according to COVID-19 risk evaluation results.

This notification will be implemented on the day of its printing and distribution.

Please make sure to wear a mask throughout the process and keep a distance of at least 1 meter away from others. Please avoid talking and gatherings.

(3) Residents who received COVID-19 vaccination within 24 hours must take the PCR test 24 hours after being vaccinated; residents who have successfully booked a COVID-19 vaccination appointment should get vaccinated after completing the PCR test. Residents with a yellow "Yuekang Code" must go to designated testing stations to take the PCR test.
