Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission reported that there were 3 newly confirmed local Covid-19 cases (1 was previously reported as asymptomatic case), 1 imported case, and 2 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital in Guangzhou from 0:00 to 24:00 on June 6, 2021.

As of 24:00 June 6, 2021, there are a total of 846 confirmed imported cases and 461 confirmed domestic cases (including imported related cases). A total of 1,200 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, and 1 patient died from the disease. Total Covid-19 hospitalizations are at 106.

From 0:00 to 24:00 June 6, 2021, 8 new asymptomatic 8 cases were added, including one local case and seven imported cases.  

Travel history of those who earlier tested positive for Covid-19.

As of now, a total of 7 close contacts have been traced and quarantined in accordance with regulations. Their residential areas and the places they had visited have been disinfected.
