Guangdong Nanhai Biomedical Industrial Base is a biomedical professional park, with 8,600 square meters of incubators and 66,000 square meters of industrial accelerators, as well as talent apartments, restaurants, community supermarkets, and other daily life facilities.

The incubator won the title of "National Technology Business Incubator" in 2016. 

Up to now, the industrial base has introduced more than 30 projects in fields ranging from monoclonal antibody drugs, experimental animal models and new pharmaceutical preparations to biological materials, medical devices and medical information services.

The industrial base, the Guangdong Academy of Medical Sciences and Foshan University, together with other scientific research institutions, have launched industry-university-research cooperation and jointly built industrial innovation platforms such as the Foshan University Science Park and the Translational Medicine Center of the Guangdong Academy of Medical Sciences (Nanhai). 

In addition, the Foshan High-tech Zone has also cooperated with the team of Academician Zhong Nanshan to build a biomedical park -- the Foshan Anjie Health Industrial Park.

The industrial park plans to invest more than 200 million yuan over three years to build a complex about 53,600 square meters. It will mainly introduce projects in hospital infection prevention and control, vaccine industry development and the special medical formula food industry.
