On Nov 27, 2020, the Nanhai Branch of Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Zone High-level Talent Park was inaugurated at Hantian Tech Town in Foshan city, SouthChina’s Guangdong province.

Pursuant to the Several Opinions on Promoting High-quality Development of National Hi-tech Industrial Zones by the State Council (Guo Fa [2020] No 7) and the opinions on talent work issued by the Communist Party of China Foshan Municipal Committee, Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Zone has prioritized talent-related tasks and offered them increasing support. Hantian Tech Town, a host of talent clusters and an important component of the Nanhai Area, has been attracting start-ups and professionals from Guangzhou, Foshan, as well as the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions.

For the purpose of making full use of a talent highland and enhancing talent exchanges, Hantian Tech Town has set up a work station at the Nanhai Branch under the Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Zone High-level Talent Park, in order to facilitate talent visits and routine work and offer accessible, convenient services. 

In line with the Implementation Measures on Special Guidance Funds for High-tech Industrialization Start-up Teams by Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Zone ("Implementation Measures"), the properly-filed teams will be prioritized to join Foshan Talent Station and Foshan High-level Talent Park. In order to support innovative start-ups, Hantian Tech Town provides continued services for their development. 

Going forward, Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Zone will issue supporting policies following the inauguration of the high-level park branch, in addition to the Implementation Measures. The city is also preparing to launch other branches.
