On April 23, the World Intellectual Property Day event of Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone was held at the Foshan circuit court of Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court. Ten highlights of intellectual property protection were introduced, and enterprises rich in IP holdings, excellent mediators of intellectual property disputes, and excellent lecturers in intellectual property were rewarded.

Kuang Dongming, member of the Party Working Committee and vice director of the Administrative Committee, summarized the ten highlights of intellectual property protection, and shared experience in promoting the construction of intellectual property.

A number of enterprises rich in IP holdings, including Midea Refrigeration Equipment, Shunde Midea Electrothermal Equipment, China Lesso Group Holdings Limited and Bright Dream Robotics, were rewarded.

Ten excellent mediators of intellectual property disputes including He Jun, and ten excellent lecturers in intellectual property including Liu Yubo were also rewarded.

The intellectual property tour route was released, and student representatives would be invited to visit sites such as the exhibition hall of the Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone. They would also be invited to attend the court trial on intellectual property cases to have a close and intuitive experience of the trial process.
