Lights made in Foshan light up Games opening ceremony
ACMETEC Holdings Limited, located in Gaoming Park in the Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, was one of the main lighting equipment suppliers for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. More than 1,500 lighting products were used at the opening ceremony, covering all surface lighting areas.

A source at ACMETEC said the lighting equipment consisted of a high-power 1,400-watt LED - a four-in-one lamp. The device uses a high color rendering light source system that can release a bright and uniform light beam to meet changing surface light requirements on a stage.

ACMETEC's products have been used at many important events, including the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, 2022 China Central Television (CCTV) Spring Festival Gala and opening and closing ceremonies of the 14th National Games.

Sha Xiaolan, director of lighting design for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics, said in a previous interview that most of the lighting equipment used in the 2008 Beijing Olympics was imported, while all the lighting equipment used at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics was made in China.
