On Feb 16, Esquel Group and Kerry Logistics signed a letter of intent for cooperation to build an intelligent logistics park in Gaoming Park of the Foshan High-tech Zone to provide tailor-made end-to-end supply chains for customers.

The planned investment of the project is about 350 million yuan ($54.92 million), and the storage area of the park is about 100,000 square meters.

The two sides are committed to building it into a professional, intelligent, high-efficiency and large-scale logistics park in the Greater Bay Area to introduce advanced logistics technology, equipment and management models, provide customized and personalized logistics value-added services, build a comprehensive logistics supply chain ecology and create a green, low-carbon and circular development logistics management system.

Gaoming Park is accelerating the formation of a development pattern in which leading enterprises lead the optimization of the whole chain and drive the whole chain to benefit. Kerry-Esquel cooperation is in line with the current development path of the park.

Based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the project is of great significance for promoting investment in Gaoming Park and the development of new industries and airport industries represented by the modern logistics industry.

It is believed that in the near future, the project will help Gaoming Park build a more competitive modern industrial system in the Greater Bay Area.
