On March 29, Foshan Huashu Robot Co., Ltd., located in the Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, acquired about 104 acres of construction land in Nanhai district to build the Nanhai Intelligent Robot Innovation Industrial Park.

The project is scheduled to start construction this year, with a planned total investment of 500 million yuan ($72.9 million). It is expected to be completed and put into use by 2024, and the sales volume of the industrial park is expected to exceed 2 billion yuan.

The park will be based on the Foshan Institute of Intelligent Equipment Technology to create a collaborative innovation platform for robotic and other intelligent equipment technology research and development, talent training and achievement transformation, and be an incubator for local robot innovation.

The relevant person in charge of Huashu Robot said that in the future, the Nanhai Intelligent Robot Innovation Industrial Park will link more leading robot projects, drive the development of the robot industry cluster in the Foshan Hi-tech Zone, and help the Greater Bay Area to build a high-quality robot strategic emerging industry cluster.

The robotics industry is "the jewel at the top of the manufacturing crown". Foshan Hi-tech Zone has advantages in industrial clusters, such as smart homes, high-end equipment, automobiles and parts manufacturing, which will provide a high-quality environment for the development of the local robot industry.
