Guangdong Yizumi Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. and FAW Foundry Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation deal on the research and development of the 9000T LEAP series ultra-large die-casting machines at a ceremony in Shunde Park, Foshan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, on May 26.

At the signing ceremony, Guangdong Yizumi Precision Machinery, one of China's largest injection molding and die-casting machine makers, announced its new development plans and inaugurated its self-developed 7000T LEAP series ultra-large die-casting machines.

Over the past few years, Guangdong Yizumi Precision Machinery has invested heavily in the research and development of its new products, which include the 7000T LEAP series ultra-large die-casting machines.

The 7000T LEAP series ultra-large die-casting machines have been integrated with a rigid, efficient and stable clamping system to achieve high-standards and a fast injection. It has a maximum speed of 12 meters per second, can equip large thin-walled mechanical parts with its dynamic filling capacity, and meet the strict requirements for the manufacturing of ultra-large integrated die-casting machines in the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry.

A super-heavy die-casting manufacturing plant is scheduled to be formally put into use this October, said Guangdong Yizumi Precision Machinery at the ceremony.

The adoption of integrated die-casting production technology has injected new momentum into the development of the foundry sector against the backdrop of the robust growth of the NEV market.

According to FAW Foundry, the success of integrated die-casting technology is closely related to the manufacturing capacity of ultra-large die-casting machines.

Its strategic cooperation with Guangdong Yizumi Precision Machinery on the research and development of the 9000T LEAP series ultra-large die-casting machines will push the level of their collaboration to new heights and open a new channel for the production of new energy vehicles that are low-cost and highly efficient.
