Grandblue Environment launches slag crane intelligent system
Recently, the Nanhai Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plant No. 1, located in Nanhai Park of the Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, has realized the automatic and intelligent operation of the slag crane, and slag loading speed has been increased by nearly 30%.
The power plant is a subsidiary of Grandblue Environment Co., Ltd. and signed a green industry innovation development agreement with Nanhai Park in May 2021.

After signing the agreement, Grandblue Environment established a special group to research the intelligent operation technology of slag cranes to help solve industry problems.
The research not only aims to solve technical problems, but to also help enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency. According to statistics, compared with manual operation, the intelligent operation of the slag crane can increase slag loading speed by nearly 30%, avoiding a queue of vehicles during peak hours.

The slag crane intelligent system can gather statistics on the daily loading volume, work tasks, loading time, equipment operation status and inspection and maintenance cycle of the slag crane, as well as generate management reports, which are convenient for data analysis and can improve the production management level.
In the future, the intelligent slag crane system will be applied to the waste incineration power generation projects of Grandblue Environment across the country.
The system is one of the research results of the Grandblue Environmental Research Institute.
On May 11, 2021, the Nanhai Park Administrative Committee and Grandblue Environment signed a contract to build the Grandblue Environmental Research Institute and incubator. The first phase of scientific research support funds, a total of 10.04 million yuan ($1.45 million), has been allocated to the Grandblue Environmental Research Institute and incubator.
The Nanhai Park Administrative Committee will continue to focus on the construction of an ecosystem using technological innovation, strengthen cooperation with more scientific research platforms and enterprises, support the industrialization of excellent scientific research projects in Nanhai Park, and promote the high-quality development of the Foshan Hi-tech Zone.
