The Foshan Central Talents & Innovation Lighthouse Industrial Park held a commencement ceremony for 10 key projects, which includes the Wanyang Science & Technology Innovation Park and the Ping'an Zhichuan Science & Technology Harbor, and whose investment totals eight billion yuan, in the Innovation Lighthouse Community on June 23.

A master plan for the Foshan Central Talents & Innovation Lighthouse Industrial Park was released at the ceremony. It has attracted the settlement of a large number of key firms, innovation platforms and service institutions over the past few years.

Zheng Haitao, Party chief of the Foshan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, said at the ceremony that the Foshan Central Talents & Innovation Lighthouse Industrial Park has become an important vehicle for Foshan to promote high-level technological innovation. He added that the industrial park should create a new development space for Foshan and provide it with a new driving force in the leap-frog development of relevant industries, as well as the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
