19 projects line up behind Fobei Zhanxin Industrial Park

Fobei Zhanxin Industrial Park of Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone held a ceremony recently to promote projects construction and production.  

The event involved 19 projects with a total investment of over 17 billion yuan ($2.52 billion), covering core parts of new energy vehicle, high-end equipment manufacturing, food and beverage and smart home. It aims to further accelerate the high-end industrial carrier and chain modernization of the park.

The ceremony was held at the construction site of Juewei Food Guangdong Ahua project. The total investment of the project is 1.2 billion yuan. The output value will reach 2.3 billion yuan after it is fully put into production.

The project is to be built into a processing and production park with an annual output of 65,700 tons of braised meat products. The products are mainly supplied to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asian markets. It is the largest production base of Juewei Food in South China.

Among the 19 projects, there are 10 key projects to be started and nine projects to be put into production. The total investment of the project exceeds 17 billion yuan, of which seven projects exceed 1 billion yuan, and one project has an investment of 6 billion yuan, that is the manufacturing project of Candela flywheel energy storage system, which will launch in August this year.

The first phase of the Candela project is a flywheel energy storage production line with an annual production capacity of 0.3GW. The main products are flywheel energy storage systems used in application scenarios such as grid frequency regulation, rail and oil drilling energy recovery.

About one-third of the 19 projects are related to the field of new energy vehicles, including the new energy vehicle parts headquarters project of Tesla, and BYD's first-tier supplier, Rainbow Group.

All the projects will become the new force for the development of Fobei Zhanxin Industrial Park.
