In 2021, Chen Guangxue's team was selected as a high-tech industrialization entrepreneurial team in Foshan Hi-tech Zone by virtue of the project relying on Huagong Liyan (Guangdong) New Material Technology Co., Ltd., and received 5 million yuan ($742,000) in funding.
Through more than 10 years of technical research and development, the team has launched products such as water-based plastic gravure ink and full bio-based offset printing ink to solve the environmental protection problems that have plagued the industry for many years.
Huagong Liyan settled in Shunde Park of Foshan Hi-tech Zone in May 2021. It is mainly engaged in the research and development, promotion and service of new material technology, focusing on biomass-based nano-functional coating materials. It has won the attention of enterprises in printing, packaging, ceramics and other related fields.
Huagong Liyan plans to further expand the R&D team in the near future, and develop a paper surface treatment technology to break the foreign monopoly in the field of paper waterproof materials. The technology is expected to achieve revenue of over 30 million yuan when it is introduced in the market.
RAE, formerly known as the Soviet Academy of Engineering, was established on May 13, 1990. It is a cross-industry scientific institution jointly established by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Defense, and the Aerospace Administration. There are more than 1,500 members. Among them, there are over 200 foreign members from more than 30 countries, including many academicians and scientists of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
