A delegation from Yichun, Heilongjiang province visited Maoming, Guangdong province from June 23 to 25 to strengthen mutual cooperation between the two cities.

The delegation visited the Maoming Open-pit Mine Ecological Park to inspect the ecological environment. The park is a good place for ecological tourism, sightseeing, leisure, and entertainment, serving as a platform for promoting Maoming's pioneering spirit and mining culture, as well as a model of ecological restoration.

The delegation went to Xinghua village, Bianjie town, Gaozhou, a county-level city under Maoming's jurisdiction, to inspect rural revitalization efforts. They learned more about Maoming's good experience in rural vitalization and construction through the visit.

The delegation also visited the China Litchi Expo Center, China's National Lychee Germplasm Resource Nursery, as well as Gongyuan Garden in Genzi town, where they praised the lychee customized sales model.

Yichun officials affirmed that they will conscientiously do a good job in cooperation between the two cities. They will also carry out in-depth mutual visits and exchanges, study tours, as well as other activities to strengthen cooperation in production and sales matchmaking to create mutually beneficial results. They added that the two cities should build tourism alliances, as well as make use of their complementary advantages and mutual technical assistance to promote the high-quality economic development of the two places.
