On the morning of February 6, Xu Zhihui, Secretary of the CPC Maoming Municipal Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, visited local communities, rural areas, health monitoring sites and petrochemical companies in Maonan district to inspect epidemic control and business operations in the midst of the novel conoravirus outbreak.

At the Chaoyang Community Party-Mass Service Center and temperature monitoring points at Zhanggu Village of Xinpo County, Xu asked local staff and Party-member volunteers in detail about any external tenants from the infectious area, implementation of self-quarantine controls, and execution of rural area controls.

He was briefed on community screening, the isolation quarantine, village-level epidemic controls and the leading role of Party organizations on county-and-village levels in the fight against the virus.

At Tianyuan Petrochemical Company, Xu engaged district heads and company executives in detailed discussions on the company’s epidemic controls and operation during the outbreak, and provided solutions for some problems faced by them.

He emphasized that all levels of the city government are dedicated to ensuring effective epidemic controls, as well as coordinating and stabilizing reform-oriented development.

Xu’s offices have set out to understand the real problems and demands of the local business community, and provide whole-chain comprehensive services.

In line with the epidemic influence and business conditions, precise and practical policy measures will be issued, in order to enhance financial and employment support, help business owners get through this difficult time, maintain business confidence, and stabilize expectations.
