Maoming Open-pit Mine Ecological Park is a national mine park located in the northwestern tip of urban Maoming. It has a planned area of 10.07 square kilometers. 

There is a pit (Haoxin Lake) with a water surface of about six square kilometers and a storage capacity of 160 million square meters, as well as a 4.67 million square meters ecological woodland and an open-pit mine museum. 

It is a good place for ecological tourism, sightseeing, leisure, and entertainment, a platform for promoting Maoming's pioneering spirit and mining culture, and a model of ecological restoration.
