The press conference for the fourth Huazhou (Xin'an) Fruit Culture Tourism Festival was held in Maoming on June 20. The festival is set to take place in Xin'an town of Huazhou, a county-level city in Maoming, from July 3 to 5.

The music video of the theme song for the fruit culture tourism festival was launched at the press conference, along with logos for Xin'an town, for Xin'an fruit, and for the festival.

In addition, large-scale public welfare activities, including the first season of “looking for the most beautiful grassroots cadres in rural areas” and the first rural revitalization live streaming festival, were initiated at the press conference.

A series of cultural activities will be held during this year's fruit culture tourism festival, such as a tourism development forum, sales activities for poverty alleviation agricultural products, exhibitions for Maoming's achievements in poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, as well as art exhibitions.

In recent years, Xin'an town has been promoting the development of its fruit and tourism industries. It has also built the fruit culture tourism festival into a platform for foreign exchanges.

The first three festivals attracted more than 300,000 visitors and over 1.16 billion yuan ($163.91 million) in intended investment. More than 2 million jin (1 million kilograms) of fruit were sold on site at the festivals.
