Huazhou, a county-level city in Maoming, has made great efforts in promoting agricultural mechanization and boosting rural revitalization in recent years, achieving several positive results.

The city currently has a total of 4,228 tractors, while the total power of agricultural machinery, such as rice planters and rice combine harvesters, amounts to 483,800 kilowatts.

In the first half of this year, the cultivation area of rice in Huazhou totaled 356,300 mu (23,753 hectares), of which 352,700 mu were planted by machines, with a mechanization rate of 99 percent.

To date, the city's overall level of mechanization in rice ploughing, sowing, and harvesting has reached 74.73 percent.

There are currently eight agricultural machinery specialized cooperatives in Huazhou, which served a total of 10,756 farmers in the first half of this year, covering an area of 65,100 mu.

In addition, Huazhou pays great attention to safe production in the agricultural machinery, carrying out high-quality tracking and safety inspection on subsidized agricultural machinery and tools. To date, the registration, inspection, and license rates of subsidized tractors in the city have all reached 100 percent.
