Maoming lychee logo authorized for use

The Maoming lychee regional public brand logo was officially launched on March 29, alongside a written proposal for its use.

It is proposed that the logo should be printed on the packaging of all lychee products from Maoming. Relevant enterprises, cooperatives, farms, and social organizations should carry out various marketing activities to promote the use of the logo.

"It is a good thing for lychee export enterprises," said Lin Bo, general manager of Guangdong Zefengyuan Agricultural Products. "It is very difficult for an enterprise to create an influential brand by itself, but the Maoming lychee brand built by the whole city's efforts will have a greater influence and cover more countries and regions."

Enterprises and organizations which are willing to apply for authorization can submit their application form and qualification materials to the city's bureau of agriculture and rural affairs through the Maoming Fruit Big Data Platform.

The qualification materials include their business license, evidentiary materials for their production and sale capacity, and product quality certification.

Application results will be released within 15 days.

By March 30, more than 50 enterprises and organizations had already applied for the authorized use of the Maoming lychee logo.
