The cooperation framework agreement that was signed by Zhanjiang, Maoming and Yangjiang last year has boosted the quality development of Maoming's Dianbai district.

Over the past year, Dianbai has been deepening cooperation with Wuchuan, a county-level city in Zhanjiang, and Yangxi county in Yangjiang in fields such as ecological environment, transportation infrastructure, industry, logistics, public services, and regional security.

It carried out joint action with Yangxi to clean the Rudong River, and advanced the formulation of a flood prevention and tide control system and investigated potential dangers in water conservation projects by cooperating with Wuchuan and Yangxi.

Relying on the ports in Zhanjiang, Maoming and Yangjiang, Dianbai has been developing its bulk goods transportation and feeder container transport in order to increase its overall competitiveness.

The district has also been deepening industry-university-research cooperation with universities and research institutes in Zhanjiang, and promoting the cooperative construction of Xiaoliang Industrial Park and industrial parks in Zhanjiang and Yangjiang to create a platform for a new round of industrial transfers.

In addition, Dianbai has been accelerating reform by providing government affairs services to people from outside the district in accordance with the reform models in Maoming and Zhanjiang. 

It has also been advancing the exchanges of public security work with Wuchuan and Yangxi, establishing a sound mechanism for the investigation, mediation and handling of land disputes in forests and beaches as well as carrying out cross-regional joint law enforcement and special campaigns to maintain public security.
