The city of Maoming received an 8.36 percent year-on-year increase of more than 2.82 million visits during the seven-day National Day holiday, which lasted from Oct 1 to 7.

The total tourism revenue reached 1.16 billion yuan (179.92 million), an increase of 9.25 percent year on year. The 23 national A-level scenic areas received 864,367 visitors during the seven-day holiday.
