The 14th plenary session of the 11th CPC Maoming Municipal Committee was held on Dec 26. The committee summarized Maoming's main work this year and deployed Maoming's key tasks for the near future. Yuan Gujie, the Party chief of Maoming, made the 2021 work report on behalf of the Standing Committee of Maoming Municipal Party Committee.

The committee pointed out that Maoming's economic development was stable and positive. Maoming promoted cooperation with State-owned enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and introduced leading companies.

Maoming's reform, opening up, and innovation continued to advance. It formulated and implemented 127 key reform tasks. It improved transportation infrastructure to be a modern coastal city. It built a 100-kilometer long ecological belt to promote rural revitalization.

In the future, Maoming will adhere to high-quality development and cultivate new advantages in the economy. It will promote agricultural and rural reforms supporting rural revitalization. It will commit to green development and promote the prevention and control of air, water, and soil pollution.

In addition, Maoming's government will be fully prepared for the 12th Maoming Municipal Congress of the CPC.
