The north building of Maoming Railway Station was opened on Jan 8, facilitating the entry and exit of passengers from the station.

The north building of Maoming Railway Station has a total construction area of 9,000 square meters. In front of its square is a stop-and-go channel for social vehicles. To the east is a parking spot for taxis. To the west is an underground parking lot with 332 parking spaces.

The north building has two floors. The first floor is equipped with waiting halls, a ticket office, and commercial areas; the east side of the second floor has waiting areas, ticket gates, and commercial areas, and the west side has waiting areas, a book bar, and commercial areas. The waiting room of the north building has 678 seats and can accept up to 3,000 passengers. The ticket hall has three manual ticket windows, five automatic ticket machines, and accessibility counters. The waiting halls are equipped with escalators, accessible channels, and mother and baby rooms.

There are six platforms and 10 railway tracks in the north building with 126 bullet trains and 16 ordinary speed trains daily reaching Guangzhou, Changsha, Shijiazhuang, and more.
