Maoming releases important livelihood commodity data in H1

Maoming released important livelihood commodity data in the first half of 2022. Compared with the first half of 2021, the prices of important livelihood commodities in Maoming in the first half of this year mainly rose.

Among them, the prices of grain, edible oil, eggs, aquatic products, vegetables, fruit, and liquefied petroleum gas rose slightly, while the prices of meat and poultry fell slightly. In addition, the prices of refined oil rose 10 times and fell twice.

From January to October 2021, the price of live pigs in Maoming was on a downward trend. It rebounded slightly in November and December, began to decline in January 2022, dropped to the lowest point of the year in March, and rebounded slightly from April to June. This month, the price rose to its highest level of the year. The average price of live pigs in the first half of 2022 was 7.68 yuan ($1.14) per 500 grams, down 43.78 percent from 13.66 yuan in the same period in 2021.

In the first half of the year, the average retail prices of beef tendon, beef brisket, boneless mutton, and bone-in mutton were 51.58 yuan, 44.81 yuan, 62.56 yuan, and 51.36 yuan per 500 grams respectively, down 0.28 percent, 0.18 percent, 0.1 percent, and 3.07 percent year-on-year.

In the first half of the year, the average prices per 500 grams of hairtail, yellow croaker, sea shrimp, jiwei shrimp, grass carp, carp, silver carp, crucian carp, bighead carp, and tilapia were 24.08 yuan, 20.45 yuan, 65.68 yuan, 46.84 yuan, 12.19 yuan, 7.42 yuan, 7.45 yuan, 8.21 yuan, 9.24 yuan, and 7.21 yuan respectively, with a year-on-year decrease of 8.33 percent, an increase of 3.27 percent, an increase of 13.93 percent, an increase of 1.46 percent, an increase of 19.7 percent, an increase of 3.44 percent, an increase of 6.36 percent, a decrease of 1.83 percent, an increase of 3.87 percent, and an increase of 0.69 percent.

From January to June, the prices of bottled LPG in Maoming were 110 yuan, 111.25 yuan, 125 yuan, 122.5 yuan, 120 yuan, and 120 yuan respectively. The average price in the first half of the year was 118.13 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.37 percent.

At present, the highest retail prices of No 92 gasoline, No 95 gasoline and No 0 diesel oil in Maoming City are 9.09 yuan per liter, 9.84 yuan per liter, and 8.78 yuan per liter respectively.
