As a port infrastructure supporting project of Donghua Energy Group's alkane resource comprehensive utilization project, the main body of Phase I of the breakwater project in Jida Harbor is expected to be completed by the end of April 2023.

The main body of the first phase of the breakwater project is 5,568 meters long, with a maximum water depth of about 13 meters. The structure adopts a riprap slope embankment scheme. About 63,400 pieces of artificial blocks will be prefabricated and installed, while other ancillary facilities will be constructed.

The artificial block prefabrication is being divided into two production lines. The #1 production line adopts a tank truck dumping process, with a construction task of 38,905 pieces.

The artificial block prefabrication #1 production line has recently completed the construction task 10 days ahead of schedule. The successful completion of the #1 production line provides a strong foundation for the subsequent construction of the breakwater.

To date, about 52,000 artificial blocks have been prefabricated, accounting for 82 percent of the total. About 1.1 million cubic meters of rock riprap have been completed in the on-site construction, while the breakwater has been pushed and filled to 3,500 meters. It is expected to be completed to 5,000 meters by the end of this year.
