The Maoming branch of the 2022 South China Book Festival recently provided a car for a mobile book fair taking place in Tanduan village, Yangjiao town, Maonan district, Maoming, attracting many students.

The car has an awning and bookshelves filled with a variety of new books, serving as a mobile bookstore. It has attracted many villagers and students, who can be found picking books and reading under its awning.

"I like to read science fiction and nature books," said Tang Guoqi, a second-year junior high school student.

"In the past, I had to walk at least six or seven kilometers to buy books from the bookstore in Yangjiao town. Although the transportation is convenient now, it is still a little inconvenient to go there," a citizen surnamed Zheng said, adding that mobile bookstores are very convenient for allowing people to freely read and choose books without having to travel too far.
