Construction on the Maoming Avenue to Dongyue Road section of Guanshan 7th Road is currently 77 percent completed, with the project expected to be completed and open to traffic at the end of November.
The road is located in the eastern part of Maoming, running east-west from Maoming Avenue in the west to Dongyue Road in the east, spanning a total length of about 792 meters. It is designed as an urban trunk road, with eight two-way lanes with a width of 45 meters, a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour, as well as an asphalt concrete pavement structure.
The project's construction includes demolition work, road work, traffic work, water supply work, drainage work, lighting work, and greening work. After its completion, it will be connected with Dongyue Road and Maoming Avenue to relieve road traffic congestion on Youchengshi Road, improving traffic quality in Maoming.
To date, the main road surface of Guanshan 7th Road has been fully connected. In addition, the special subgrade road base treatment, cement stabilized layer, pavement of the north side sidewalk, water supply and drainage works, greening works, as well as installation of street lights have been completed.
