Maoming's Dianbai district has a summer crop area of 550,200 mu (550,200 hectares), including a late rice sowing area of 366,200 mu. As a result, 380,700 mu of autumn grain is expected to be harvested, with an autumn grain production of 153,800 metric tons.

The relevant person in charge of the bureau of agriculture and rural affairs of Dianbai district said that this winter's production plan has been planned in advance based on the characteristics of the local winter planting season. As of now, nearly 300,000 mu of green beans, tomatoes, melons, and peppers have been planted.

This year's high-standard farmland construction task in Dianbai district for this year is 15,400 mu, of which 4,000 mu of a green farmland demonstration area has been created to provide a strong base for food security.

To date, Maoming's late rice harvest is about 1.7 million mu, of which more than 90 percent has been harvested. Its winter crop plan totals nearly 1.4 million mu, of which about 80 percent has been completed.

Maoming finished sowing 3.9 million mu of grain, with a yield of 1.54 million tons, including 1.74 million mu of late rice, with a total yield of 726,208 tons.
