Maoming's first batch of catfish products was exported to the United States recently.

In order to facilitate the smooth entry of this batch of catfish products into the US market, Maoming Customs set up an official supervision team for catfish products exported to the US to publicize the catfish laws and regulations of the US to enterprises. It also introduced the specific requirements of the laws and regulations in the HACCP system regarding processing workshops, raw materials, food additives, processing process control, as well as storage and transportation.

"Thanks to Maoming Customs' information promotion and policy interpretation, the export process went smoothly for us. As the first Maoming enterprise to obtain the registration qualification to export catfish to the US, we are very confident about the prospects of our products in the US market," said Han Xinghui, general manager of Maoming Hengxing Aquatic Science and Technology.
