Since January, the Maoming branch of SINOPEC (China Petroleum & Chemical) has continuously improved its business performance.
The power plant in the Maoming branch of SINOPEC has analyzed 351 key factors affecting the sudden shutdown of a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler, and has formulated 84 corresponding measures. On Feb 8, the No 2 CFB boiler in the refining area was repaired and has been in stable operation for 570 days. This has set a new record for the longest period of operation of a CFB boiler within the company.
The company's overseas aviation kerosene shipments have increased by 41.5 percent from the previous year. The company's diesel from domestic trade completed 100.82 percent of its monthly target, and has supplied 66,100 metric tons of local gasoline to Maoming.
In January, the special standard value of the company's synthetic resin products, synthetic rubber products and solid chemical products reached 1.87, 1.86, and 1.87, respectively.
In January, the company's sulfur and industrial liquefied gas sales rose 35.9 percent and 55.6 percent, respectively. The thermoelectric sector produced an excess of 76,900 tons of gasoline, generating over 104 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. The total amount of gasoline transported by rail was 157,700 tons, and another 26,600 tons were converted into liquefied petroleum gas.
