The hometown of Madam Xian, a popular tourist site, is free for people who have a "fu card", a preferential tourism card in Maoming. Madam Xian, a historical figure, was born in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420-581) and lived through the war era during the Chen Dynasty (557-589) and Sui Dynasty (581-618). Madam Xian was a female leader of the Bai Yue ethnic group in the Lingnan area, where multiple ethnic groups in Guangdong and Guangxi lived together in peace and were united under her rule.

Boat tickets for Fangji Island are 130 yuan ($19) for one person and 220 yuan for two people from March 4 to 11. Fangji Island is 122 meters above sea level and has an area of 1.9 square kilometers. It is a famous island in western Guangdong and is the largest island in Maoming. With seawater visibility of up to 8 meters, it is suitable for diving and fishing. The island has beautiful scenery, which includes various stone formations, beaches, caves, rocks, and forests.
