Maonan district in Maoming will hold a car carnival at the Nanfang International Automobile Industrial Park from April 29 to May 1.

The Nanfang International Automobile Industrial Park is the key characteristic automobile industry park in Maoming. It carries out works involving industrial agglomeration and large-scale development.

The park is located at the intersection of the Shanzhou-Zhanshan Expressway and the Maozhou-Maoshan Expressway. It connects the Baotou-Maoming Expressway, the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway and Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport.

Currently, the area of the park measures 9,000 mu (60 hectares). However the long-term planned area of the park is set to be 50,000 mu. Additionally, the planned construction area of the first phase of the park is 2,550 mu.
