Four Maoming enterprises have recently been listed as provincial manufacturing individual champions.

The four companies are Maoming Gravity Petrochemical Equipment, Guangdong Xinhuayue Petrochemical Incorporated, Guangdong Zhonghe High-tech, and Guangdong Liwei Chemical.

A provincial manufacturing individual champion in Guangdong province refers to a manufacturing enterprise that has long focused on the product development and production of manufacturing industry segments. It also has the basic conditions for innovation and strong technological innovation capabilities; has reached the international advanced domestic leading level in production technology; and has a single product market share in the forefront of either the global or domestic industry.

The high-purity dicyclopentadiene produced by Guangdong Xinhuayue Petrochemical Incorporated fills the gap in the domestic market. Its market share ranks first in the country, and its global market share accounts for about 30 percent.

The purity of the two-mercaptoethanol produced by Guangdong Zhonghe High-tech is as high as 99.8 percent, which is excellent quality. Its domestic market share has ranked first for many years, and it is listed as one of the world's three major suppliers for this product, along with Philip, from the United States, and BASF in Germany.

Guangdong Liwei Chemical is the largest manufacturer of high efficiency cyhalothrin in China. Its effective cyhalothrin ranks first in both global and domestic markets.
