On June 20, the second Xindong Wampee Promotion Conference was held in Gaozhou's Xindong town, Maoming.

At the meeting, Xindong town signed cooperation agreements with local leading enterprises, large e-commerce platforms and logistics platforms, all of which are set to help boost the sales of wampees.

The most famous wampee type in Xindong town is the Jixin wampee. It has a small core and a sweet and slightly sour taste. It is nutritious, and helps with digestion as well as relieves coughing. Xindong has the largest wampee cultivation area, and the wampee grown here are of the best quality.

Xindong town will continue to focus on cultivating leading enterprises and introducing more equipment and technologies that are capable of processing wampees into various kinds of food, drinks and health care products. This will accelerate the integrated development of the wampee industry. At present, Xindong town has developed wampee tea, juice, mooncake, noodles, and preserves.
