In the wake of invaluable assistance provided by a dedicated support work team, industries in Dingpu town are thriving, spurring local rural vitalization.

The team is composed of staff from the Guangzhou Office of the State Administration of Taxation and the Guangdong Branch of the China Agricultural Development Bank.

Under its assistance, 11 companies settled in Dingpu over the last year. One example is the Auant Moon Nutrition Food Manufacturing, which was established by the work team and some local young people.

In November last year, the work team and the diligent locals jointly established the company, focusing on the development of the pre-fabricated Chinese cabbage dish industry.

"We've guided 155 villagers to plant more than 500 mu (33 hectares) of turnips - a crop which is expected to increase to 1,000 mu (67 hectares) this year," said Ruan Kangmei, chairman of the company.

On June 28, Dingpu town also held an activity to promote its rural vitalization.

During the event, the Maaoming municipal government signed agreements with 10 companies that were newly settled in Dingpu, while the Maoming branch of the Agricultural Development Bank of China signed cooperation agreements with five enterprises in Dingpu.
