The construction of Maoming South Railway Station will begin at the end of this month.

Construction work is currently underway on the plaza in front of the station, which includes an underground parking area, a commercial zone, a bus terminal, and an outdoor park.

According to the project manager, the underground parking area will be approximately 300 meters long and 110 meters wide. Over 130 workers are currently engaged in constructing the sublevel basement structure, and progress is going smoothly.

The plaza will feature a 4-kilometer long and 34-meter wide path, connecting Maoming Avenue with Panzhou Avenue. It will provide a convenient route for residents and travelers to enter and exit Maoming South Station. The path was renamed Baiyue Avenue.

The station project not only involves construction, but also land acquisition work, demolition work, and road network construction. All of these efforts are being pushed forward.

The station project will improve local transportation conditions and promote the economic development of Maoming city.
