Maoming litchi, as a landmark brand, was awarded as an outstanding case of brand construction in the regional brand category for Guangdong's trademark brand development in 2023.

Maoming litchi has the characteristics of the longest cultivation history, the largest scale, the most abundant varieties, the best quality, and the strongest industry.

In recent years, Maoming city has applied to the National Intellectual Property Administration to register the "Maoming Litchi" national geographical indication trademark. It has been awarded the "China agricultural regional public brand · market competitiveness emerging brand" for two years.

In May 2022, the regional brand logo of "Maoming Litchi" was unveiled at the China Litchi Industry Conference, marking an essential step in the branding of "Maoming Litchi."

Maoming has formulated more than 10 local standards, such as the Maoming Litchi e-commerce sales standards, and selected "Maoming Litchi" geographical indication brand demonstration bases and enterprises to drive brand development.

Maoming has hosted the China Litchi Longan Industry Conference for four consecutive years, establishing Maoming's leading position in the national litchi industry. Activities such as the Maoming Litchi Carnival and the 10 Thousand E-commerce Litchi Sales Competition have also been organized.

In the future, Maoming will continue to promote the construction of the "Maoming Litchi" landmark brand.
