Maoming Customs has been precisely addressing the needs of key enterprises and major projects. Authorities have ensured the stable and secure supply of imported crude oil and mineral products, while also promoting the export of aquatic products and other local specialties.

In the first three quarters of 2024, the total value of Maoming's imports and exports reached 11.18 billion yuan ($1.54 billion), with exports amounting to 3.93 billion yuan and imports totaling 7.25 billion yuan. Maoming's trade growth has been driven primarily by general trade, bonded logistics, and processing trade.

Maoming Customs has actively promoted policies to support enterprises, including tax incentives and streamlined approval processes. These efforts have helped local businesses expand their market presence and enhance their competitiveness. The customs authority has also facilitated the development of high-value-added industries, such as aquatic and chemical products, by providing comprehensive support services.
