The Jizhao Bay Provincial Tourist and Holiday Resort is located in Wuchuan city, 50 kilometers west of Zhanjiang city, Guangdong province. It is 13 kilometers away from downtown Wuchuan and has a total area of 12.4 square kilometers. The resort boasts the well-known large rocky coast. With zigzagging coast and beach, it can be comparable to the Pattaya Beach in Tailand. With an ideal gradient, broad and clean sand, and clear water, the wide beaches here can be comparable to those in Beidaihe, a famous resort in Chengde, Hebei Province. The Jizhao Bay Provincial Tourist and Holiday Resort is located between Zhanjiang and Maoming, connected to the National Highway 325. The Resort covers an area of 12.4 square kilometers and has a 11.2-kilometers-long coastline. It is well known for its beautiful scenery. There are many armlets and rocks here, and each armlet has its own unique beauty. Along the long coast, there are beaches, sand bars, capes, rocks of grotesque shapes, rivers, lakes, armlets, forests and fishing villages. Chinese fan palm (Livistona chinensis) trees stand in rows, and coconut trees dance with the breeze. You can also go to the seaside at Diaode Village to see the huge rock there, which will surely impress you. The resort is a beloved destination for photographers for its unique geographical location and the gracefully changing light.

The Jizhao Bay Resort is undergoing further development, in a bid to become an AAAA tropical coastal tourist area. There are 19 hotels, guest houses and holiday resorts where fresh seafood is served. 105 villas have been built, offering over 1,100 beds and 8 conferences rooms. Tourists can have fun by taking part in the following activities; walking or riding horses on the beach, playing beach volleyball, singing or dancing in karaoke bars, playing table tennis, taking a sauna, barbequing, and camping.
