Atlantic City, a world-famous tourist coastal city, sits on a 16-km sandbank in New Jersey, close to the Atlantic.

The city covers an area of 44.9 square kilometers, of which 29.4 square kilometers is land area and 15.5 square kilometers is water area. Its population has reached 40,000.

It is 160 kilometers from New York and 96 kilometers from Philadelphia. Due to this geographical advantage, Atlantic City has been a tourist and health resort since the end of the 19th century.

Its municipal conference hall that can accommodate 41,000 is used to hold international or national meetings.

The economically developed city, taking tourism services as its leading industry, attracts over 5,000 large international conferences and trade shows with upscale hotels and warm and thoughtful service.

Additionally, New Jersey has America’s top-ranked secondary education system. Its rate of enrolment to colleges and universities ranks second and the test performances of Advanced Placement rank first in the USA. The prestigious Princeton University is right here.

The city enjoys warm and moist weather, with a maximum air temperature of 24 – 27 C, and a minimum of 18 – 21 C in summer.

It also has convenient transportation. The international airport is located in Egg Harbor Township, 14 kilometers northwest of Atlantic City.
